The Fifth International Scientific Conference “Trade, Merchants and Customs in Russia in the 16th-20th Centuries”

Dear colleagues!

St. Petersburg Institute of History and the Association of Researchers in the History of Trade, Merchants and Customs invite you to take part in the Fifth International Scientific Conference “TRADE, MERCHANTS AND CUSTOMS IN RUSSIA in the 16th-20th centuries”, , which will be held on September 27-29, 2022 in Novosibirsk on the basis of the Institute of History of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

Issues related to the study of social, economic, legal, political aspects of the history of trade, merchants and customs in Russia in the 16th–20th centuries are brought up for discussion (from 1500 to 1991 inclusive).

The conference organizers are: the Institute of History of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the Institute of History and Archeology of the Ural Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the Institute of Mongolian Studies, Buddhology and Tibetology of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the Institute of Russian History of the Russian Academy of Sciences, St. Petersburg Institute of History of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Institute for the Humanities of the Novosibirsk National Research State University, Faculty of Historical and Political Sciences of the National Research Tomsk State University, International Association of Researchers in the History of Trade, Merchants and Customs.The Letter of information (in Russian).
